Website and Blog Facelift

Well, it’s that time again for an “out with the old, in with the new” facelift for our website, blog and even logo. For a long time, I have wanted to bring everything we do under one virtual roof – our portrait work that includes high school seniors, families, couples and grandparents, as well as our wedding photography. I have to say, I love the new look! Corporate and Business Headshots in Seattle

Winter is an excellent time to update your on-line presence, and having a new photo to accompany your website is a must. Recently I’ve been getting calls from business professionals who agree with this philosophy. I love the creative challenge of showing up at a workplace and creating a portrait that showcases an individual’s style, personality, approachability, and professionalism, regardless of the line of work that they are in. Take for instance Dr. Richardson from Kirkland Dentistry. He wanted an image of his entire staff, plus individual headshots of each staff member. His waiting room is so beautifully decorated, it was a given that the group shot needed to be taken in their environment. We brought in our studio light to overpower the interior office lights, and I think the end result turned out great.

Dr. Richardson and his staff are so friendly and approachable, that we wanted to convey this through their individual headshots as well. We were fortunate that the beautiful Pacific Northwest sun was shining that day, so with a patch of tall grass outside, we took the individual shots in the natural light that is so flattering.

Image is important no matter which industry you are a part of, but especially so for those that provide investment advisory services and insurance products for their clients. When I met with this business leader, we didn’t have much time to create his portrait, but an empty conference room and a bank of tall windows provided just the right atmosphere to create an image that exuded confidence, trustworthiness, and approachability.

Molly was just 17 years old when a horrible soccer accident left her without her two front teeth. Ouch! Thankfully, she had Dr. Dave Richardson from Kirkland Dentistry to take care of her and restore her smile back to perfection.

I love to get requests from professionals who are looking to update their business photo profile, and want to do something apart from the standard cliche headshot.
