Gabriel and I will always have a tender spot in our hearts for Dean and Ashley, whose wedding we photographed several years ago. Theirs was a love story that was so sweet and a day so filled with emotion – we were honored and privileged to be a part of their day.
So it was such a cool treat to hear from Ashley over the Christmas holiday – coming home to be with their families, she wanted to make sure that a family photo session was high on the agenda. It was so great to see the love continue to grow throughout this lovely family…
Ashley’s family was so full of life and ready to move onto the fun and spontaneous – this was totally their suggestion and inspiration, which I think they pulled off perfectly!
It was then onto an afternoon session with Dean’s family on the dock of their neighbor’s home.
No one expected the bugs to surface so quickly in the middle of winter (!), so we cut our time short on the dock and ended up photographing in other spaces. I loved the tree swing which made a great spot for a relaxed family portrait.
